Her eyes gleamed up as she saw the book. Her face beamed with joy as she found her birthday gift – a beautiful iridescent peacock feather.

  1. Lovely take on the prompt Vaisakh. I loved the ending. Iridescent peacock feather has also always fascinated me as a child. Loved to keep them between pages. Reminded me of my childhood.
