This week is turning out to be hectic. There’s so much to be done, and so little time. Truckloads of commitment to cater to, and then some. So I decided to keep this week’s post simple. And what’s more simple than to share a picture you took?
Two pictures in fact. Shot with a digital camera, the two pictures show two facets – two vantage points.
The vigour of the hunter and the dread of the hunted.
The hope in the eyes of the satiated and the hopelessness in the eyes of the defeated.
The power of many against the imprudence of being a loner.
Wild side of nature, in small scale.
A lone black ant, which carelessly wandered into a colony of red ants, met this fate. Size didn’t matter here. There is strength in number.
So, which one appealed to you the most? The vigorous hunter or the listless victim?
I appreciate a loner, but fighting against ants is a lost cause…as most find out the hard way…my vote goes to the ants.
Hmm.. come to think of it, I prefer to be loner sometimes too. And ants.. I was fortunately spared that day 😀
great photographs .. I must say .. because of the beauty in the capture and the message it is passing on !! May be, the black ants of Indian politics face the same fate in 2014 … as the Third Front of yet another set of opportunists is peeping in to take the thrown of mighty India !! 🙂
Super Like the post !!
Thanks bro! never knew this picture would have a political angle though.. 😀
reader’s perception 😀 … a patriot .. first .. and then a human .. can’t help it Vaisakh !! 😀
